Polyurethane Sealants (or Urethane Sealants) are an older technology that do not have the longevity or UV stability of silicones and hybrids. Polyurethanes comes in many formulations, some with higher firmness or quicker cure times than can be achieved by other sealants. They remain appropriate for some applications such as traffic exposed joints, or joints not exposed to UV.
